Representatives of Midway Extension District #15 told the Ellsworth County Commission on Feb. 9 they are concerned that the Register of Deeds office will not have enough space to host Extension services, and asked the county to consider alternatives so Extension can remain in the courthouse.
Craig Dinkel, Jessica Kootz and Daron Stevenson asked the commissioners to keep Extension informed as county staff and offices explore space options. The commissioners said they were willing to discuss options with the offices involved. No motion or formal action was recorded on the item during the meeting.
