County authorizes EMS director to seek Smokey Hill grant after yearlong plumbing problems

Commissioners indicated a preference to remain local and asked him to try Water Works one more time, but then Commissioner Shawn Thomas moved and Commissioner Dennis L. Rolfs seconded a motion to allow the EMS Director to request grant funds from the Smokey Hill Community Foundation. The motion carried 3-0.
