Resident tells council unresolved drainage problems are damaging her home

Kim Bozek, a resident, used the public-comment period to press the Pewaukee Common Council for help with long-running drainage problems that she says are now damaging her home.
"I am here to follow-up personally on an email that I sent out regarding some serious drainage issues that have gone unaddressed for years that are now causing some very, very problematic issues with my foundation of my home, the structure of my home, the health and safety of my family," Bozek said, describing the problem as a 10- to 12-year issue.
Bozek gave an address she said is North 17 West 25010 in Blue Mound and said her property and the adjacent family property have “completely turned into wetland as of right now.” Council members reminded her that during public comment they could not engage in a back-and-forth and asked her to resend the email to city staff and aldermen so officials could investigate. The chair and other council members directed Bozek to send the email to City Hall staff (Maggie) and to her aldermen so staff could follow up.
No formal action was taken during the meeting; council members asked staff to look into the matter and requested Bozek resend her documentation so it could be routed to the appropriate departments.
