Dodge County Board of Adjustment conducts site inspections ahead of April 9 public hearings

The Dodge County Board of Adjustment met April 2, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. in Room 302 of the Administration Building in Juneau. Chairman William Nass called the meeting to order, roll was called and a quorum of members was confirmed.
The Board reviewed meeting notices and the agenda after Andy O'Brion of the Land Resources and Parks Department confirmed the meeting and the public hearing notices were posted, mailed and published in accordance with statute and code requirements. The Board approved the minutes from its March 12, 2026 meeting on a motion by Jon Schoenike, seconded by Russell Kottke; the vote was 5-0 in favor.
Assistant Corporation Counsel Wesley Kottke told the Board he will attend the April 9, 2026 public hearing on the Board’s behalf. Chairman Nass asked Land Resources and Parks staff member Andy O'Brion to accompany the Board on upcoming on-site inspections and to attend the April 9 public hearings.
The Board viewed several parcels to gather facts for future public hearings: the Channing and Rachel Row property in the Town of Shields (N1287 Rich Road); a parcel listed as JDW Properties LLC c/o Josh Wiesner (Lot 2 CSM 6041, Town of Lomira; site address N11463 Columbia Drive); a Dennis and Ruth Shoup parcel in the Town of Fox Lake (fractional NW 1/4 NW 1/4, site N10020 State Road 73); and multiple Trenton-area parcels and exclusions associated with Kirk Warmka, Mike Zimmerman, and Lori and Bob Schoenfeld, among others. The inspections were noted as fact-gathering for the April 9 hearings.
By order of the Chair the Board moved to adjourn and the motion carried. The minutes were submitted by Secretary Mark Othmer. The Board is scheduled to hold the associated public hearings on April 9, 2026; further formal actions on the inspected properties will be recorded at that time.
