Dodge County Board of Adjustment approves minutes, schedules site inspections for land-use cases

At its Jan. 8 meeting in Juneau, the Dodge County Board of Adjustment approved Nov. 13, 2025 minutes 5-0, confirmed open-meeting notice compliance, scheduled on-site inspections and public hearings for several properties in Dodge County, and adjourned.
The Dodge County Board of Adjustment met Jan. 8, 2026, in the Land Resources and Parks conference room in Juneau and approved the Nov. 13, 2025 minutes by a 5-0 vote.
Chairman William Nass called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. and noted that a quorum was present. Andy O'Brion of the Land Resources and Parks Department confirmed the meeting and the public-hearing notices were posted, mailed and published in accordance with statutory notice requirements.
"Motion by Russell Kottke to approve the minutes as written," Kottke said; Rodney Justman seconded. The board voted unanimously in favor, 5-0.
Chairman Nass asked staff to accompany the board on upcoming on-site inspections and to attend related public hearings. The minutes list a public-hearing date as Jan. 15, 2025; because this meeting occurred on Jan. 8, 2026, the year listed in the minutes appears to be a clerical error and the hearings are treated as scheduled for Jan. 15, 2026, consistent with the meeting calendar and the board's stated timeline.
The board viewed and recorded facts for several properties to be considered at those hearings, including: the Jarod and Cora R. Peirick parcel (SE 1/4, NE 1/4, Section 15, Town of Emmet; site address W6260 Hill Road; PIN 016-0915-1524-001); two lots recorded to Cole Fenner (N6235 and N6201 Ridge Road, Town of Calamus; PINs 008-1113-1342-006 and 008-1113-1342-004); and a parcel associated with Grande Cheese Company in Section 12, Town of Leroy (PIN 028-1316-1222-001), described by metes and bounds in the record.
By order of the chair a motion to adjourn was made and carried. The minutes were signed "Respectfully Submitted, Mark Othmer, Other Secretary." The minutes note they may be approved, amended or corrected at the next committee meeting.
