Hialeah council repeals earlier permit, approves variances and schedules vocational school second reading

In both cases the clerk read the ordinance/variance language and the motions carried.
On a separate agenda item the council approved first reading of a conditional-use permit to allow operation of a vocational and technical school at 3412 West 84th Street, Unit 100 (C-2); the council passed the motion and scheduled second reading and public hearing for May 26, 2026 at 5:30 p.m.
Council made these decisions during the zoning portion of the meeting with roll-call votes; where the clerk announced "motion carries," the council approved the items and closed public hearing portions where applicable.
