CWCAC EPF&A votes to invite prospective nonvoting board member and add annual meeting

The EPF&A Committee voted unanimously to invite the daughter of former board member Evans Littlegeorge to join the board as a 16th member without voting privileges and approved adding one extra annual Board of Directors meeting to the calendar. Staff will distribute a revised annual board schedule.
Donna Maly called the Central Wisconsin Community Action Council EPF&A Committee to order on March 13. During committee reports, Executive Director Fred Hebert said Loretta Littlegeorge contacted staff to propose an introduction to Evans Littlegeorge’s daughter.
After discussion the committee voted unanimously to invite Evans’ daughter to serve as a 16th board member with no voting privileges. The minutes record the motion passed but do not name a mover or seconder.
The committee also voted unanimously to approve one extra Board of Directors meeting per year and to set board meeting months as February, April, June, August, September, October and November; a new annual board calendar will be distributed to members. The minutes list Donna Maly, Ross Curry, Liz Miller and Dave Singer as present, with Charlie Krupa excused.
Fred Hebert reported the agency is currently fully staffed and raised an update on issues concerning NEWCAP; the minutes do not provide further detail on NEWCAP matters. The Beaver Dam men’s shelter insurance claim was noted as having no further discussion.
The committee adjourned and scheduled its next meeting for April 10, 2026.
