Agency reports property sales, listings and an $80,000 "as‑is" offer after water damage

At the Feb. 25 EPF&A Committee meeting, staff provided updates on recent property transactions and facilities that could affect service locations and program operations.
Fred Hebert, a staff member present at the meeting, said the first single-family house in Necedah sold for $319,000 and a second house will be listed with Castle Rock Realty at $339,900. Hebert also reported water damage at the 407 Beaver Street property and said the agency has received an $80,000 offer to buy the property "as is." Separately, the Beaver Dam office building is being prepared for listing at $525,000 while staff assess relocation options for the homeless unit and the food pantry.
Committee members did not take formal votes on the property updates during this meeting. Hebert’s report indicates the agency is actively marketing assets and weighing options for relocating services impacted by facilities issues. The minutes note that the committee will receive the Finance Report at the following Board of Directors meeting, where any budgetary implications would be discussed further.
