EPF&A committee moves to hire SSO coordinator and deepen county and tribal partnerships for homeless services

Hebert said the hire is intended to strengthen coordinated intake and referral systems. He also told the committee that agency staff and Columbia County Health & Human Services (represented by Carol Sjoblom during a recent visit) discussed ways to streamline referrals and to ensure callers can reach a live person for crisis assistance.
Hebert said he is also connecting with Ho-Chunk representatives to explore greater involvement with the agency and possible Board of Directors representation. He added that the agency is pursuing a candidate to fill the Dodge County Special Interest Group Representative vacancy.
These staffing and partnership moves are presented as operational steps to improve access to services; the committee did not record any formal motion beyond the personnel update.
