The Garfield Heights City Schools board voted to enter executive session to consider personnel matters, citing "division g 1 of section 121.22 of the revised code." The Chair said the recommended purpose was to consider appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion, compensation or investigation of charges against an employee, official or licensee.
Ms. Cox moved to enter executive session and Mr. Dudley seconded. The board took a roll call and all present voted yes. The Chair stated there would be "no items voted on when we return." The board then entered executive session; the meeting record indicates no formal votes were scheduled for when it reconvened.
