The committee also approved $18,380.75 transferred from titling and registration reserve funds to improve the Cheatham County Clerk's Office in Pilgrim.
Committee members also approved a $350,000 transfer from the general purpose school fund balance for capital projects at War Eagle Farm. A separate general purpose school request for $651,717.97 to set up summer instruction and fund summer learning camp operations at three county locations was approved by the committee 4–0 with one abstention. The committee reported approving an interfund capital outlay note of $533,724.80 to fund school system laptops out of education debt for the current budget year.
The budget committee reported unanimous or near-unanimous committee votes on these items; several were recorded as passing 5–0 or 4–0 with one abstention in committee. The report included surplus approvals for obsolete time clocks and a 2006 Chevrolet 2500 from animal control slated for disposal.
