Officials said targeted early‑childhood and elementary reading efforts have contributed to improved third‑grade proficiency and growth metrics this school year, while also noting interventions occur at classroom level for students needing tiered supports.
The committee did not take action on the matter; trustees asked staff to continue monitoring outcomes and to report results from the upcoming assessments and strategic plan measures.
