The New Haven Unified School District board approved a slate of resolutions, agreements and routine items on April 15.
Key actions adopted by voice vote included:
- Resolution No. 0502425 proclaiming May 2025 as Asian-American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month (motion and adoption recorded; motion carried).
- Resolution No. 0522425 authorizing the issuance and sale of general obligation bonds, Election of 2024 Series A (motion and adoption recorded; motion carried).
- Resolution No. 0532425 designating May 2025 as New Haven employee recognition month (motion carried).
- Approval of a memorandum of understanding with nonprofit user groups granted legacy status (Trustee Gonzalez recused from that vote).

- Ratification of multiple memoranda of understanding and contracts for psychoeducational and behavioral assessments (Chang and Associates; Christina Keefe; Mind by Design; Deborah Burns McKowski) and a three-year agreement with Abnormal Security Corporation for cloud email security services.
- Approval of consent agenda items 13.1 through 13.26.
Most motions were adopted by voice vote and the minutes record "motion carries" after each item; the transcript does not contain a roll-call vote tally listing individual trustees' votes for every item. Trustee Gonzalez announced a recusal on one item because of a familial conflict. No item was tabled or failed at this meeting.
