The Fallbrook Union Elementary School District governing board approved an amendment to Superintendent Monica Hazel’s contract of employment, extending the contract term through June 30, 2028 and specifying compensation and benefits provisions.
During the oral summary required by Government Code procedures, the district presented the main terms of the amendment: extension of the contract for one year through June 30, 2028; the superintendent shall receive annual increments for attainment of a master’s degree at the same rate as other certificated employees; the district will pay for an income protection insurance policy; and the superintendent will be afforded 26 vacation days (an increase of two days). The board moved, seconded and voted to approve the amendment.
