Cinnaminson board approves $375,000 capital withdrawal for preschool facilities, accepts $133,000 playground donation

The Cinnaminson Township School District Board of Education voted Dec. 17 to accept several donations and authorize funding and contracts for district projects, including a $375,000 withdrawal from capital reserve for a preschool facilities project.
Administration told the board it had received a $133,000 donation from an entity listed in the agenda as “seasa” earmarked for new playground equipment at New Albany Elementary School, and a separate $746 donation from Jersey Mike’s of Cinnaminson. The board also accepted a $10,000 Wellness Grant through the School Health Insurance Fund and accepted the New Jersey Department of Education’s final eligible cost determination for the preschool facilities project. To advance that project the board approved withdrawing $375,000 from the district’s capital reserve.
The board approved several operational contracts: an electronic ticketing agreement with Hometown Ticketing, a memorandum of agreement for a flexible benefits plan, residency-investigation services with Thomas Rutter, renewal of the indemnity and trust agreement with the School Health Insurance Fund (retroactive to July 1, 2024), and transportation fuel-tank service and testing contracts with T-Slack Environmental Services. The board also approved an amended 2023–2028 sidebar agreement with the district’s administrators association and an ascending tuition agreement with Black Horse Pike Regional School District.
Board members moved and seconded the finance motions and confirmed approval by voice vote. Mr. Living good presented the business-and-finance items during the meeting; board members thanked donors and volunteers in later comments.
What happens next: Implementation steps for the preschool facilities project will follow the accepted state cost determination and the capital-reserve withdrawal. The agenda materials attached to the meeting list the donation sources and contract documents; the board’s approvals were procedural votes to accept and authorize those items.
