The Fort Atkinson Plan Commission on March 24 approved a site plan review to install a 39-square-foot backlit aluminum wall sign for MBE CPA at 524 Whitewater Avenue.
Staff said the sign complies with the current code (the sign is 39 square feet, below the 40-square-foot facade allowance), is constructed of appropriate materials and will replace the existing Luke Walsh CPA sign at that location. The commission approved the sign by motion and voice vote without further discussion.
Staff noted forthcoming zoning text amendments under consideration by council that, if adopted, would move similar approvals to an administrative staff process.
