Cascade County considers amendments to detention center food and inmate telecommunications contracts

Captain Kadner of the Cascade County Sheriff’s Department presented two contract amendments related to the Cascade County Adult Detention Center during the April 22 work session.
Contract 26-37 is a third amendment to Summit Food Services Inc., continuing provision of food services to the detention center effective Dec. 19, 2025; background materials were provided to the board. Contract 26-38 is the fourth amendment to the master services contract with Securus Technologies, Inc., to provide inmate telecommunications and maintenance services from April 1, 2026, through Sept. 25, 2028. The Securus amendment is presented as a no-cost change to the county.
