Prosecutor Henry said IT wiring already in the space (installed for prior Michigan Department of Corrections use) could be reused and recounted an informal IT estimate of about $4,800 from the director of IT, while noting he did not have that figure in writing.
The clerk conducted a roll-call vote on the resolution to approve construction of the prosecutor office; the motion carried with one no (Commissioner Burrows). The board then moved on to other business.
The board did not publicly discuss contract award details or a contract number during the vote; commissioners who requested additional procurement paperwork asked staff to provide written documentation in advance of implementation.
