Committee approves Aug. 28 minutes, excuses absent member and adjourns
Summary
At its Sept. 11 meeting the committee approved the Aug. 28 written minutes, voted to excuse the absent member (Mr. Restep) and then adjourned; Ordinance 24 was placed on next week's council agenda for further review.
The St. Bernard Village Council committee took three formal procedural actions at its Sept. 11 meeting.
First, a motion by Mr. Schultmire to approve the written minutes of the Aug. 28 council meeting, seconded by Mr. Edwards, passed by voice vote.
Later in the meeting, Mr. Colbertson moved, and Mr. Schultmire seconded, to excuse the absent member (Mr. Restep); that motion also passed by voice vote. Immediately afterward the committee approved a motion by Mr. Colbertson, seconded by Mr. Schultmire, to adjourn.
Additionally, the clerk announced that Ordinance 24 (an amendment to section 182.17 of the tax code) is scheduled for the next week's council meeting for further consideration; no council action on that ordinance occurred Sept. 11.
