US Medical Glove Company to occupy former St. Bernard Soap site, mayor says it will bring about 200 jobs

"US Medical Glove Company will now be occupying the former St. Bernard Soap location's ... facility where they are projected to create over 200 jobs for Ohio workers by the end of 2025," Stoel said. He added that the company plans to establish 16 proprietary glove production lines at the site and that the village will share hiring-event information as it becomes available.
The mayor placed the announcement among several community updates, including recreation events and Memorial Day plans. No formal council action or vote on incentives or land-use approvals related to the company was recorded during the meeting; Stoel said more information will be forthcoming.
The announcement follows other items in the mayor's report, including operational changes at the aquatic center and a plan to restrict pavilion access during pool season to better monitor conduct. Council members did not debate the company's plans during the meeting; the administration indicated it will provide hiring information to residents when it is announced.
