Clarkdale council enters executive session, says it will present positive town manager evaluation

The moderator introduced agenda item No. 3 as “a possible vote to enter into executive session,” noting the council intended to discuss personnel matters (the town manager's annual evaluation), seek legal advice, and instruct representatives on negotiations related to real property. On the record the moderator cited state executive-session provisions as the basis for closing the meeting to the public.
Vice Mayor Hunetter moved "to enter into executive session as outlined," and Council Member Jones seconded. The council voted by voice; the moderator announced, "Motion carried. The meeting returned to open session at 2:57 p.m. The moderator said the council "are going to move forward with a positive annual evaluation letter of our town manager that will be presented at the next meeting."
