Treasurer Michelle Zimmerman presented the 2026 first-quarter Investment of Idle Funds Report on April 21; Commissioner Kevin Stuber moved to approve the report and Commissioner Jerry Sedlacek seconded the motion, which the minutes record as passed.
Zimmerman told commissioners that approximately half of the county's abandoned properties may qualify for the upcoming tax sale. She also reported that CC/JJA insurance coding was correct and relayed a request for electronic keypads and key-fob access at the Extension Office; Kevin Stuber said he would follow up on the access request.
Separate facility items were recorded elsewhere in the meeting: ACE will service courthouse air-conditioning units and the Bressner Building has a repair quote from Buster Black that was provided to the Fair Board. Commissioners approved vouchers totaling $45,890.97 and adjourned at 10:30 a.m.
