"Wasn't Tyler Technologies paid $5,200,000?" she asked, and requested a public status report on reassessment progress, budget and remaining work.
County staff and the director of assessments responded that Tyler provided reassessment services but finished in-building reassessment activities on 06/30/2025 and remained available for certification support for a limited period thereafter; the director said Tyler still provides other county services (finance software) and that the $103,098.08 payment could relate to those ongoing services. "Tyler's last day in the building for us was 06/30/2025," Patrick Tobin said, adding that the company provided post-certification support through November 2025 and for a brief period afterward.
Other residents urged a root-cause review of parcels that were never billed, noting possible legal ramifications and recommending a meeting that would include Tyler, the recorder of deeds, the director of assessments and possibly the assistant district attorney.
Chair acknowledged the public request and said officials would look into the specific payment and provide follow-up information. No additional contract action was taken at the meeting.
