Chief Financial Officer Normma Friddle presented three separate budget amendments and the board approved each by voice vote.
General fund amendment: Friddle said updated property values from a 2023‑24 property‑value audit increased foundation school program revenue, which required revenue and expenditure realignments to prevent function‑level overages. A motion to approve the general fund amendment was moved by Mr. Stazzy and seconded by Mrs. Benford; the chair called for the ayes and the motion passed.
Child nutrition fund amendment: Friddle said the child nutrition amendment reclassified payroll expenditures to better reflect maintenance staffing codes (function 51). The board approved the amendment on a motion and voice vote.
Debt service fund amendment: Friddle said certified property values required an update to the debt service fund to realign the local/state share of debt service. The board approved the debt service amendment on a motion and voice vote.
Meeting minutes record the motions, seconders and voice approvals; there were no roll‑call tallies provided during the meeting. The amendments were informationally explained and then approved during the action portion of the agenda.
