ZBA allows second wall sign for Taco Bell on 12 Mile Road

The Zoning Board approved a variance Nov. 18 permitting a second wall sign for the Taco Bell at 24705 West 12 Mile Road.
Bob Benjouro of Allied Signs told the board the additional approximately 9.96-square-foot sign helps maintain national and local branding and keeps total sign area well under the 70-square-foot cap in the ordinance. Staff recommended favorable consideration with the usual permit and inspection condition.
Board members said they had no issues with the request and approved the waiver by voice vote, noting that the total signage is within allowable area limits and the request is minor.
