SFOC adopts 12th annual Measure S report, details completed school projects

The School Facilities Oversight Committee adopted its 12th annual report to the community on Measure S after a brief presentation from staff.
Chair said the committee had a quorum and called for a motion; a committee member moved to adopt the report and the motion was seconded and approved. "So we have a motion and a second to adopt our annual report to the community," the Chair said before the vote.
Crystal, who led the presentation of Exhibit D, summarized the completed projects funded by Measure S during the 2024–25 year: "We finished the ball wall. We got Roosevelt Teddy Bear Park with the ADA compliance. We did doors and hardware update at Huerta, Jefferson and Miller. Miller got their floors redone. Stevenson and McKinley had new rubber resurfacing done at their playgrounds. Edison had asphalt repair," she said.
Crystal also told the committee the technology team installed surveillance cameras and upgraded infrastructure to support ongoing projects. Staff said there were no audit findings in the current report.
The committee adopted the report without objection. The Chair thanked members and reminded them the committee will reconvene in January to receive the audit and present the public report, if the schedule holds.
The meeting adjourned at about 04:52.
