Resident urges Curry County to post written minutes; commissioners consider adding PIO duties to support staff

The presiding officer said the county contacted SOWEB (referenced as the Southwest Workforce Investment Board) to inquire about temporary, short-term staff to answer phones and provide a public-facing presence while permanent duties are clarified.
One commissioner volunteered (Pat) to draft a job description and to work with Julie and legal counsel to return a proposal to the board. The board agreed to pursue a path forward; no formal vote on permanent position changes was recorded in open session.
