Commission approves Williamson County EMS signage and site alterations at 110 Alders Gateway

The commission approved a design review and historic zoning application for a new civic building, signage and site alterations proposed for Williamson County EMS at 110 Alders Gateway.
Staff (Emily Huffer) told the commission the property is within the Franklin Road Historic District and that the applicant had incorporated prior feedback. "This application has come before design review and historic zoning several times, and the applicant has incorporated all of the feedback and refined and revised the plan. And, therefore, staff recommends approval of the application with conditions," she said.
An applicant representative introduced himself and sat for questions; no members of the public spoke on the item. Commissioners praised the applicants for their responsiveness to previous comments and approved the motion to accept staff conditions by voice vote.
The approval is conditioned on the staff items discussed in the record; staff will monitor final materials and any minor design revisions before issuing certificates of appropriateness.
