The resolution passed with six yeas and one abstention. For the record, Councilor Jennifer Hemingway abstained because she serves as a board director with Prairie Hills; the abstention was explicitly noted during the roll call.
Mayor and staff framed the land bank as another tool for the Office of Community Development to address blight and property rehabilitation. The council directed staff to execute the agreement as presented.
