Student representatives and staff outlined recent and upcoming activities: Key Club's 65 Roses fundraiser, a community drop‑off event that hosted 30+ children, a book drive that collected more than 100 books for local schools and libraries, and a hygiene‑product drive that runs through March 15. The National Honor Society is organizing a blood drive on March 9; students and community members are encouraged to register.
Athletic highlights included the boys basketball team winning the county championship and an undefeated wrestling season with multiple district qualifiers. The school musical, SpongeBob SquarePants, will run on March 6, 7, 13 and 14; tickets are available at dvrhs.org. Administrators and coaches congratulated students for their leadership, resilience and community service.
