Board approves multiple agreements, MOU and resolutions; accepts closed‑session personnel actions

Early in the meeting President Cuevas reported closed‑session personnel actions taken by unanimous vote: acceptance of the resignation of employee ID 2096 effective February 5, 2026, and issuance of a notice of non‑reelection to probationary certificated employee ID 3151 under Education Code 44929.21(b), effective at the end of the 2025–26 school year. The board directed the superintendent to send appropriate legal notices.
In open session the board approved an MOU and services agreement related to a teacher residency grant with Alder Graduate School of Education; the superintendent noted the agreements are contingent on award of the grant and would not take effect without funding. Members also adopted a resolution certifying the district had conducted an exercise to determine there are no unhoused pupils (students for whom the district lacks classroom space), enabling Dixon Montessori Charter School to include that certification in its Office of Public School Construction application for rehabilitation funds.
Other action items included the board’s approval of the Dixon Teachers Association MOU to designate the last day of school as a minimum day (to align instructional minutes and contractual arrangements) and approval of the consent agenda. Votes on these items were recorded as carried by voice or roll call with unanimous support where noted.
Board staff noted several of these agreements are contingent upon external grant awards or routine budget processes and will be reflected in future budget actions when applicable.
