At its March 12, 2026 meeting the Covina-Valley Unified School District Board of Education recorded the following votes (all passed by unanimous roll call unless otherwise noted):
- Consent agenda: approved (unanimous). - AB 1200 public disclosure of compensation for an unrepresented group: approved. - Tentative agreement with Covina Unified Education Association (CUEA) including 2% non-retroactive increase effective 07/01/2026: approved. - 2% non-retroactive salary increase for confidential, supervisory, management and unrepresented employees (2026-27): approved. - Covina Valley Association of School Psychologists (VASP) sunshine proposal for 2026-27: approved. - New/revised job descriptions (Account Clerk 3 confidential; Coordinator, Multilingual Programs; Coordinator, Extended School Programs): approved. - Second interim financial report for 2025-26 (positive certification): approved; staff to submit to County Office by March 17. - Resolution 25-26-13: increase school facility developer fees under Gov. Code 65995 and Ed. Code 17620: approved; staff to file CEQA exemption and notify planning departments; effective date 05/11/2026 if filings complete. - Resolution 25-26-14: self-certification of federal micro-purchase threshold of $50,000 for 2026: approved. - Amendment No. 2 to the lease-leaseback agreement with Miller Construction for Covina High School softball field: approved. - Buy-board contract use 766-25 with Versus Athletics and with BS Athletics for athletic/PE equipment: approved. - Administrative panel findings for stipulated expulsion cases 202526-02 and 202526-03: approved.
