ST. HELENS, Ore. — The St. Helens Public Library Board unanimously approved its April 13, 2026 meeting minutes, selected new officers for the 2026–27 fiscal year and adjourned May 11.
Kelsey moved to approve the April minutes and Lynn Pettit seconded; the board voted unanimously to approve. Later in the meeting, Aaron Martin moved to appoint Lynn as vice chair and Kelsey as chair beginning in July; the motion was seconded and the selection passed unanimously. The board then moved to adjourn; members voted aye and the meeting ended with a reminder the next regular meeting will be July 13.
The officer appointments do not require City Council confirmation, per the board’s discussion; the board chair offered to provide transition notes and contact information to the incoming officers.
