Board approves first reading of Chapter 45 zoning changes and authorizes Microsoft Enterprise Agreement

During short public hearings on May 5 the Dallas County Board of Supervisors approved zoning ordinance language updates and an IT enterprise agreement.
Chair Julia Helm opened and closed a public hearing on proposed changes to Chapter 45 of the zoning ordinance (powers and duties of the Board of Adjustment); after a brief hearing the board approved the first reading and voted to waive the second and third readings. The hearing opened at 9:31 a.m. and closed at 9:33 a.m.
At 10:00 a.m. the chair opened a public hearing on the Microsoft Enterprise Agreement and closed it at 10:02 a.m. The board approved the agreement and authorized the chair to sign the contract.
Supervisor Brad Golightly moved and Supervisor Kim Chapman seconded both actions; the minutes record the motions as carried with all ayes. The minutes do not include the full text of the Chapter 45 language changes nor the Microsoft contract terms; both are recorded in the agenda packet and supporting documents.
