Board approves contract amendments, Oxbow maintenance agreement and farm-lease extensions

The board also approved an Iowa Financial Incentive Program maintenance/performance agreement for Oxbow maintenance at Carroll Prairie. The consent motion was made by Craig Meyers, seconded by Erica Place, and carried by unanimous consent.
Separately, the board approved cash-rent farm leases extending arrangements the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers had with former tenants; Director Mike Cox explained these are continuations of Corps-era leases and noted one lease remained unsigned and required signatures to complete. The motion to approve leases was made by Erica Place, seconded by Jim Colbert, and carried by unanimous consent.
