Board members focused on material authenticity — thickness of stiles/rails, whether dividers are applied or true divided lights, and the acceptability of exterior cladding. Some members said an aluminum‑clad Andersen e‑series or a full‑wood Pella Reserve would be acceptable, but that the installed vinyl‑clad option was not.
A motion to deny the application passed by voice vote; board staff will prepare findings of fact documenting the denial and the board’s rationale, and will share the board’s list of accepted window products with the applicant.
