The Chair opened the meeting and presented Item 1, calling for consideration of approval of the June 12, 2025 minutes and saying, "I would move approval." With no discussion, the Chair called for a voice vote; a Director and the Chair responded "Aye," and the Chair declared the motion passed unanimously.
On Item 2 the Chair introduced a motion to appoint Mike Saunders to the Cove Orchard Sewer District budget committee for a three-year term through 06/30/2029. A Director voiced approval; there was no further discussion. The Chair called for a voice vote, announced the ayes, and stated, "Motion passes unanimously."
During "other business," a Director asked whether there were additional spots to fill on the committee and discussed eligibility requirements. The Director said there were two committee seats for lay committee members and noted, "They have to be, paying district members." The Director added that they had been "talking to one guy" about serving. No formal action on vacancies was recorded.
The Chair closed the meeting at 9:48 a.m.
