Josh Connell of LRS told trustees the change improves truck allocation and spare‑truck ratios, reducing missed pickups when trucks break down. Bill Kenny of LRS said the company will support outreach with cart tags, social media, mailings and customer‑service staffing to help residents transition to new pickup days.
Trustees discussed communication plans and voted unanimously to approve the amendment. Staff said outreach would begin immediately to prepare residents for the schedule change.
