Joseph said the state issued alteration-of-terrain permits for both the original site work and the hotel and the next step is to consult with the state floodplain office about whether a letter of map revision or other town action will be appropriate.
The board also heard that the Lakes Region Planning Commission is rewriting its master plan and will distribute a transportation survey; staff said the state DOT has indicated it will not generally add new projects to the coming 10-year plan or restore cut projects automatically, so local sponsors will need to stay engaged.
