Councillors also asked the plan to better emphasize resident education efforts (for example, how to compost at home) and to ensure implementation tables are updated consistently.
The council adopted the plan and directed staff to make the vice‑mayor's recommended changes throughout the document, return with finalized technical edits and continue grant‑seeking to implement high‑priority measures.
