Bathroom renovations at Eisenhower were reported as near completion with a three‑week timeline. The high‑school esports room has its fiber connection installed and is now functional; a second quote for AC installation is pending.
Board members also discussed the solar canopy at the high school. The district explained that litigation with the original vendor stalled work for roughly two years; a new contract has been awarded and staff said the project will be electrified and connected so the canopy can generate energy and revenue going forward. Members of the public asked whether panels will be replaced and staff clarified that the project will be completed under the new contract and the canopy will be energized.
Finance committee members reminded the board that $8.6 million in proposed cuts remain contingent on state aid allocations expected in March.
