The Sheboygan City Planning Commission unanimously approved a site-plan and architectural review for a 1,260-square-foot addition to Rogers Behavioral Health at 1108 South Wildwood Avenue.
Corey Myshak, identified himself as vice president of development for Rogers Behavioral Health, said the expansion was not originally planned but was proposed to increase services and to provide larger group therapy spaces and an additional consult room. “To increase services in the area, we determined that larger group room space were needed just to provide a better, more comfortable application of treatment,” Myshak said.
City staff said the addition matches existing building form and materials; commissioners expressed support and approved the site plan and exterior design by voice vote.
The commission did not record any conditions beyond standard staff recommendations.
