The Lancaster School Board on Tuesday adopted a contract authorization and a companion funding resolution related to facilities at Parkview educational complex.
Trustees approved resolution 2025-362, authorizing a CUPC/CADA contract over $220,000 to install an entry canopy at Building J of the Parkview educational complex. The contract amount was described in the agenda readout as "over $220,000." The motion for the contract passed 3-0.
The board also adopted resolution 20.5-263 to unencumber kitchen infrastructure and training funds, a procedural step the board said would free the funds for other specified uses. That resolution likewise passed unanimously.
Board members did not engage in extended debate on either item; staff comments indicated the canopy contract is part of planned site improvements and the unencumbering action relates to budget housekeeping. No contractor name or implementation timeline was provided in the meeting record.
Both actions were approved by recorded voice vote and will move to the district’s implementation processes.
