AC Transit warns Berkeley council of a possible $200 million shortfall and service cuts

Lau said a recent state loan had stabilized immediate finances but that without additional revenues the agency would have to consider hard choices to preserve service. He urged community members to attend the June 10 meeting and participate in the public comment process.
The comment was informational; the council did not take action on the matter but staff and residents were alerted to the June 10 board review.
