Under a discounted program tied to the district’s free-and-reduced-lunch percentage (described in the transcript as an "-ray" program), FiberFed’s bid yields a 90 percent discount to the district; the presenter said Corsicana ISD’s share over three years will be 10 percent — $6,386.79 — or about $2,128.93 per year.
The presenter listed the bidders (NextLink, Barrow Fiber, AT&T and FiberFit) and noted NextLink — the current provider — submitted the highest bid.
