Hingham High robotics team recognized after first world-championship qualification

Senior captains Tori (Tory) Dell and Logan Dilar described the season: "We compete in FIRST Robotics Competition...we have around 2 months to design, build, and code a robot," Dell said, and Logan Dilar highlighted the team's awards and mechanical innovations, including a rare double-intake that judges praised. Team members credited mentors, parents and alumni for supporting travel and mentoring.
The committee presented certificates to team captains and thanked team mentors (including Paula Flanagan and alumnus Cooper Pinnell) and staff who supported the program. Superintendent Roberts said the district will celebrate the team later in the week and thanked mentors and parents for their support.
