The ordinance's appendix includes the updated CIP and the land-use assumptions; staff said the amendment does not change the existing impact-fee chart.
Council discussion focused on interpretation of the multi-year fee tables in the appendices and which column applies for development today. Staff and councilors clarified that the current, effective fee level is the established "year 10" amount (discussed during the meeting as roughly $25,000 per acre in the documentation presented) and that any change to fees would require a future committee recommendation and council action at the next quinquennial review cycle.
Council members voted in favor of the ordinance following discussion; staff said the CIA/CIP committee will continue to monitor buildout, calls for service and the amortization schedule and return recommendations during future reviews. The ordinance passed without amendment at this meeting.
