The River Heights Planning Commission voted May 12, 2026 to approve a boundary adjustment application submitted by Brad Dixon to correct recorded lot lines affecting three parcels on Stuart Hill Drive. Commissioners discussed inconsistencies between the names on the application and the recorded lot (one parcel listed under a trust name) and recommended the applicant ensure the surveyor’s signature and the correct trust name appear on the plat before county recording.
Brad Dixon and a neighboring property owner described how a previously completed survey and plat had not been recorded by the title company; the neighbor said the survey had been done years earlier but the title company had failed to record it. Commissioners asked that the applicant correct the record so future sales will reflect accurate lot lines and avoid disputes. The applicant said the properties are held in a trust and he will fix the recorded name and have the plat signed and recorded.
Commissioner (S1) moved to approve the boundary adjustment application as submitted; another commissioner seconded the motion and the commission voted in favor. Commissioners said the application should be recorded at the county once the surveyor signature and trust name issues are resolved and that staff should confirm the recording.
The application was approved at the meeting and the commission advised the applicant to follow up with the surveyor and title company to complete recording.
