The amendment does not change the town's decision to employ its own fire code official; rather, it updates the contractual language to reflect the staffing arrangement.
Board members had no substantive questions and approved the amendment by voice vote.
Staff described the amendment as routine and part of ensuring the town and Rural Metro align on responsibilities following the staffing change.
