The Kenosha County Planning and Development Committee voted to advance two appointments to the county board on procedural resolutions presented at Tuesday’s meeting.
The committee approved a resolution to nominate Aaron Pugh to the county Zoning Board of Adjustments. Aaron Pugh told the committee he has served on the town planning commission since 2009 and has experience with ordinances, variances and local land‑use issues. The committee carried the motion to approve the appointment; staff said the nomination will be presented to the county board at its next meeting.
The committee also approved a resolution to appoint Paul Collard to the Southeastern Wisconsin Fox River Commission. Staff noted the commission changed its residency requirement, allowing Paul Collard — who has attended commission meetings as an alternate — to vote if confirmed. The motion passed without objection.
Both appointments will appear on the county board agenda; the county executive must sign authorizing documents for the appointments to take effect.
